Maggie and Brandon.

I've struggled with what to write in this post. What to say, what to leave out. I should have known better, but it's surprisingly hard to condense a lifetime of memories into a paragraph.

My cousin Maggie has been a part of my life since day one. There are pictures of us in diapers, pictures of us running through sprinklers, pictures of us having tea parties together. We went to the same middle school, high school, and college. Maggie was a year above me at UGA and my favorite study partner. When Brandon arrived on the scene, the two of them clicked from the get-go. After surviving long distance, med school stress, puppy ownership, and several tumultuous Georgia football seasons, let's just say it wasn't a surprise when Brandon asked me to be there when he proposed to Maggie this past New Year's in Athens. I was lucky enough to be able to photograph the proposal then, and a couple of weeks ago, I was lucky enough to photograph their engagement portraits.

It has made me so incredibly happy to see my brilliant, beautiful cousin become engaged to such a wonderful man. Maggie and Brandon, I would wish you good luck, but you aren't going to need it. Thank you for letting me be a part of this exciting period of your lives!

All my love,
